Outback Ecology is an environmental consultancy specifically associated with the Australian resources and mining industry. We have been catering to the environmental needs of these industries for over 20 years and have recently joined MWH Global to expand our presence and offerings.

Our team has diverse environmental experience and skills relevant to experience in mining including approvals, management and closure, oil and gas, rangelands, carbon and agriculture.

The Outback Ecology team within MWH currently employs more than 60 scientists, with a range of qualifications and experience, allowing us to present a diverse range of services to our clients and meet their specific needs. We pride ourselves on the quality of our science, our practical field-based approach, and our depth of understanding of Australia's natural resources and their management. We employ rigorous internal audits to ensure quality assurance at all stages of our projects, and work to standardised procedures and templates to ensure consistency and quality. Our staff regularly attend training programs to keep abreast of new technology and ideas.
