Fauna
Outback Ecology has been catering to the environmental needs of Australia's mining industry for over 20 years.  As native fauna is protected under the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 and the Wildlife Conservation Act 1950, it is a requirement that projects within Western Australia comply wtih the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process.  In addition, there is a need to address Environmental Protection Authority Position Statement No. 3: Terrestrial Biological Surveys as an element of Biodiversity Protection and Guidance Statement No. 56: Terrestrial Fauna Surveys for Environmental Impact in Western Australia.
