Ian joined Outback Ecology in 2006 after spending over 10 years in the IT industry working with Oil and Gas and Mining companies. Ian’s primary role during this time has been to assist with the development of software for companies such as Woodside Energy, Santos, WMC and BHP Billiton. At Outback Ecology, Ian works in the Mine Closure group, focusing on the continued development and support of the computer based Progressive Rehabilitation and Closure (PRAC) System developed by Outback Ecology to effectively manage progressive mine closure management plans. Ian also performs several tasks for other service groups within Outback Ecology including undertaking environmental site assessments, preparing approvals documents and annual environmental reports. Ian also has extensive GIS experience. |
