Jeni recently joined Outback Ecology to lead the Flora Service Group, which provides flora and vegetation impact assessments for the mining industry and other development projects.  She holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Murdoch University) and Honours in Applied Science from Curtin University. Jeni worked as an Ecologist/Technical Officer/Environmental Coordinator for Western Australian government departments (DEC, DAF,DMP) over a period of 14 years conducting biological surveys (flora and fauna), providing environmental guidance in regional operations and in a mining industry regulator role for the Kalgoorlie Inspectorate. Jeni has also worked as an Environmental Coordinator and Advisor in both on-site and Perth based roles over a period of five years in the diamond, gold, iron ore and mineral sands mining sectors. Jeni has worked in the environmental consulting sector for the past six years, managing flora and vegetation survey projects including costing and scheduling; surveying and identifying flora; vegetation mapping and report writing primarily within the Pilbara and Kimberley Bioregions.
